Equipment
Equipment for short-sighted individuals
- Traditionally, people who are very short-sighted wear corrective glasses that have very thick rims, and which are unattractive and heavy.
- To reduce thickness as much as possible, they go for small curved frames (bases 2 to 4) which means they cannot wear most sport glasses (bases 6 to 8), which offer more effective protection.
- With the B-ThinActive design technology, lenses for short-sighted people are up to 72% thinner and 45% lighter.
Equipment for long-sighted individuals
Lenses for long-sighted individuals are thick in the middle and thin around the rims. Although convex prescriptions are possible with glass arched bases (6 to 8), the lens thickness soon poses a problem as eyelashes touch the inner side of the lens...The bigger the frame, the greater this problem is.
With the B-ThinActive design technology, lenses for long-sighted people are up to 54% thinner and 44% lighter.
